This community event offers something for everyone, featuring a parade, a bike giveaway for kids, children's activities, food and drinks, fireworks, and live music.
The Summer Send Off is a combined effort between the Greenville Civic Club, Greenville Fire and Rescue, Greenville EMS, and Boogie and the Yo Yo’z.
Festivities include:
2 PM – Send-Off parade in downtown Greenville. Watch for the Wolf River Community Bank crew handing out goodies!
3 PM – Festivities begin at Lions Park (corner of Hwy 96 & 76) with the bike giveaway registration. Each year the Civic Club gives away over 100 bikes to kids ages 3-12 which are donated by local businesses and citizens.
3-3:30 PM – Kids Activities
5 PM – Great Greenville Bike Giveaway
6 PM – Live music
9:45 – Presentation of the Bill Tesch Scholarship Award
9:55 – Fireworks!
An entry button is required to enter at Lions Park. Buttons can be purchased in advance at many local businesses or at the gate the day of the event. Wolf River Community Bank is a button seller location! Button cost is $8/per button and kids 12 and under are free!
Event will happen rain or shine! In the event of inclement weather, every effort will be made to move the event inside the Big Barn.
