Did you know most of the trash that ends up in our waters actually starts on land? You can help stop it at the source by volunteering at the Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance's Annual Cleanup!
This is Northeast Wisconsin’s largest volunteer cleanup event! More than 1,700 volunteers will spread out across 65+ public sites in our watershed, working to remove an estimated 7,000 pounds of trash.
The day kicks off early at your cleanup site, where volunteers get to work removing litter and debris from parks, trails, and waterfronts. They’ve got you covered with gloves, grabbers, bags, and everything else that you’ll need. No experience required. Just show up ready to do something good for the planet!
When the clock hits noon, everyone comes together at Telulah Park for the Cleanup Picnic. This is a community celebration featuring lunch, music, bounce houses, raffles, and plenty of family-friendly fun. It’s the perfect reward for a morning of hard work and environmental sustainability.
Interested in volunteering? Register here: Volunteer for the 2026 Watershed Cleanup! If you register by March 31, you’ll get a free cleanup t-shirt!
Wolf River Community Bank will be cleaning up the Sturgeon Trail in New London. We hope you’ll join us in cleaning up our watershed!
If you’re wondering what a watershed is, think of it as all the land and waterways that drain to the same place. The Fox‑Wolf Watershed covers the entire region that feeds into the Wolf River, the Upper Fox River, the Winnebago Pool Lakes, and the Lower Fox River. All that water eventually flows into the Bay of Green Bay, then Lake Michigan, and ultimately out through the Great Lakes to the Atlantic Ocean.
Our watershed is huge. It stretches from Crandon to Fond du Lac and from Portage to Green Bay. The Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance’s Annual Cleanup brings our communities together to care for this shared system and to build a deeper understanding of the environmental stewardship needed to protect water quality across the region.
