National Spotlight: Miranda Schultz Named an ICBA 40 Under 40 Leader

Wolf River Community Bank is proud to announce that Miranda Schultz, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operations Officer, has been named one of the 2025 “40 Under 40: Community Bank Leaders” by the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA).
This prestigious national recognition honors just 40 standout community bankers across the country under the age of 40 who are driving positive change through operational efficiency, digital innovation, and community commitment. Miranda’s inclusion on this list is a testament to her visionary leadership, strategic acumen, and deep-rooted dedication to both her bank and her community.
Miranda oversees the bank’s Retail Banking, Deposit Operations, Electronic Banking and Accounting departments. Since joining Wolf River Community Bank, Miranda has played a pivotal role in elevating the institution’s infrastructure, technology and culture. She successfully led the bank’s seamless core system transformation and championed the formation and growth of its electronic banking team. It was also her innovative vision to launch an employee-driven charitable giving program and to find new ways to streamline operations across departments to increase bank-wide efficiency.
“Miranda is not only a financial expert—she is a forward-thinking leader whose work ethic, progressive ideas, and strategic mindset have helped shape the bank’s modern evolution,” said Joe Peikert, CEO of Wolf River Community Bank. “We’re thrilled to see her contributions recognized on a national stage.”
